I have been able to apply my core Physics and Mathematics skills from day one and have also learned a great deal since I commenced my research.

The MPhys course provided a great set of transferable skills andI found my degree prepared me very well for a research role and I had no problems getting up to speed in making a significant contribution.

There is a great balance between studying and student life at Southampton and a great student atmosphere - I am still in touch with several of my fellow alumni.
