Why complete the NSS?

Why is NSS important to us?

The comments and feedback made in the NSS are vital. Your feedback enables us to improve all aspects of the student experience.

All surveys, including the NSS, are important channels for our students to give their personal feedback in an anonymous manner.

NSS eligibility

Students to be included in the NSS are selected through an automated process which identifies final year undergraduates and those on flexible part-time programmes.

If your final year cannot be easily predicted, you will be surveyed during your fourth year of study. If you were due to be in your final year in 2016, but have withdrawn or are repeating your penultimate year, you are also eligible to take part. To check whether you are eligible for the NSS 2016 please visit the NSS website

If you find that you have not been registered with Ipsos Mori and you believe you should be eligible to fill in the survey please contact Prof. David Smith on: dcsmith@soton.ac.uk
