Alessandra Costantino

Alessandra Costantino is a postgraduate research student at University of Southampton, where she is working with Prof. Antony Bird on coded-mask techniques for gamma-ray surveying. Her research includes the development of coded mask techniques for terrestrial (security and medical) imaging and new data analysis methods based on back-projection algorithms for astronomy surveys with INTEGRAL space telescope.
Alessandra Costantino has completed her MSc degree at University of Bari Aldo Moro in 2017, specialising in Nuclear, Particle and Astroparticle Physics. In 2016 she worked as a trainee student at the Europen Space and Astronomy Centre (ESAC) on the development of on pile-up correction algorithms for XMM-Newton PN camera.
