He is now leading the LeMMINGs survey, which is the second largest survey of the eMERLIN radio array. This surveys includes observations at several bands, from radio (eMERLIN, VLA) to X-ray (Chanda) and aims at studing the nuclear properties of nearby active and inactive galaxies.

Dr Ranieri D. Baldi is a Research Fellow at the University of Southampton.

Research interests

His research interests are the study of Active Galactic Nuclei (AGN) at the centre of local and distant galaxies, the study of their evolution together with their host galaxies, radio AGN with a strong committment  to understand the accretion properties in low-power AGN
